No discount will be given if the renter returns early or picks up late.
Only once can you reschedule your booking with more than 24-hour notice.

We can reschedule your booking if it’s due to inclement weather.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Returns are not allowed after 7 days of the delivery date.

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return or exchange any item within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us by email info@eastcoastrecrides.com to arrange your return. Any item can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in ‘demo condition’, with its original packaging, tags and a valid receipt/delivery note. Please note: bikes or products that have been customer ridden / used will no longer be deemed as in ‘demo condition’ and will be ineligible for a full refund or exchange.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty, cards, manuals and accessories).
1. New and unused bikes are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
2. We will arrange the freight for the equipment to be shipped back to the manufacturer however you are responsible to pay for shipping costs. Shipping cost to ship bikes across Canada is $200 on average.
3. Please note that returning a bicycle to us is time-consuming for you and also for us. If you are not sure if the bike will fit you, then please contact us. We have demos at our location you try before making the purchase.
Unshipped orders: can be cancelled 3 business day(s) prior to shipment. Subject to merchant processing fees.
Pre-orders: deposits can be cancelled. Subject to processing fees.
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit and debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original transaction,cheque payments will be refunded in cash but due to banking restrictions can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt/delivery note.
Refunds will be made for faulty or incorrect items, including any delivery charge incurred by the buyer (excluding ‘Special Delivery’) in the return of the item. If the products you ordered are delivered to you in good condition but you wish to return them for any reason we will refund the full value of the goods excluding any carriage charge upon receipt of your returned goods.
You are required to return your product in the same condition it was received and packed in its original packaging. The product is subject to inspection upon delivery and if deemed unsellable, or not in its original condition, and packaged in the same method, it will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
If packaging is damaged upon arrival, please take photos and videos from as many angles as necessary to fully show the damage of the packaging and contents. Send us the photos and videos for review and guidance on how to proceed. If the box arrives damaged, do not open the box until we have advised you that it is OK to do so.
You have 7 days to return any unused product purchased on our website. Refunds are processed once we inspect the returned product.
How long does it take for my return to be processed?
Refunds for validated and inspected returns are processed at least within 14 business days of receiving the return.
Where do I send my return?
The appropriate information will be sent to you by email if you are looking to return a component or an ebike.
We always strive to deliver a quality product. We build, test and inspect all of our bikes prior to shipping.
If for some reason the bike is not a good fit for you, we allow returns within a 7 days period.
1. New and unused bikes are subject to 10% restocking fee.
2. If the bike is used and with less than 10km on the odometer then it is subject to 20% restocking fee.
3. If the bike is used and with more than 30km on the odometer then it is subject to 35% restocking fee.
The customer is responsible for arranging the freight to come back in our facility. The average cost to ship bike across Canada is $200. The bike needs to be returned in its original packing.

Cancellations
You can cancel an order up until the order has been shipped. There is no fee associated with this.
Orders that have already been shipped with valid tracking number cannot be canceled. Once the order is shipped, the customer will be responsible for returning the new merchandise pursuant to the VoltBike return policy to receive a refund.
Helmet Exchange
Due to Covid 19, we are no longer accepting any helmet returns or exchanges. If you don’t think that either of helmet sizes will fit you, please select a top tube bag as your option for your gift with purchase rather than a helmet.
